Alfredo Barros

PhD in Composition by the University of Texas, Austin (2007), he is a Professor at the State University of Ceará and principal conductor of the orchestra in that Intitution. He composes works of several genres, from vocal pieces to electroacoustic music. Among many awards, he won first place at the II Psycho­pharmacon Contest for Choral Works in São Paulo, in 1990, with the piece A mestra.
