Conductor, singer, composer, violinist and piano teacher. Raposo left meaningful sacred work – in all, 17 masses, many hymns and prayers of the Holy Week. Tenor of great success in the region where he lived, he earned the nickname of Sabiá Mineiro and had the opportunity to sing for Princess Isabel and D. Pedro II, from whom he received a silver medal and a gold baton.
