José Maurício Júnior
Violinist, regent and composer, he worked in Campinas for most of his life. He used to be accompanied by his sister. He founded, together with Sant'Anna Gomes and other musicians, the Family Recreation Society, promoting soirees and charitable presentations throughout the city. Among his works are the Sinfonia Flora and hymns for local artistic societies.
