Mário Tavares
Composer and conductor, Mário Tavares was one of the main interpreters of the musical work of Villa-Lobos. He used to claim there were no barriers between classical and pop sounds: "good music is well done music", he used to say. This sentence defines a career which has never been associated with labels.
