Paulo Costa Lima

Award-winning Brazilian composer and member of the Brazilian Academy of Music, he was an apprentice of Ernst Widmer. Naturally influenced by the rhythms of his homeland, his work is a mix of the European formality and his cultural roots, resulting in an universal discourse. He was a professor and director of the Music School at the Federal University of Bahia. His catalog has 106 works and 350 performances in more than 15 countries.
