Ricardo Matsuda

Composer, arranger and an autodidact guitar player. In 1984 he moved to Campinas and started his work as an arranger, composer and guitar player in productions next to great names as Paulo Jobim, Guinga, Toninho Horta and Jacques Morelenbaum, among others. In 2001 Matsuda produced his first authoral CD - Dança das Estações and in 2009 he released his CD Contos Instrumentais, with compositions for the Duo Viola e Cravo (alongside with the harpsichordist Patricia Gatti). Between the years 2001 and 2008 he was part of the Grupo Anima, acting as an interpreter of Brazilian guitars and as an arranger, composer and recording director.
