Milton Amaral

Milton Amaral, the artistic name of Antonio Amaral de Oliveira, composed many songs and sambas in the first half of 20th century. His first composition - samba Tatuí - was recorded in 1929 by Arthur Castro. In 1934 Gaston Formenti recorded one of Milton Amaral's greatest hits, the waltz Folhas ao vento, re-recorded 4 years later by Vicente Celestino.
