Camargo Guarnieri

Son of musicians, Camargo started his musical studies when he was 10 years old with Virgínio Dias, to whom he dedicated his first composition. He began to compose in a regular basis after the first Modern Art's Week, in 1922. In these compositions Camargo applied a typical Brazilian style. He passed away after receiving the Gabriel Mistral Award from OEA, in Washington, as the best American continent composer.
