Ernst Mahle

Ernst Mahle moved to Brazil in 1951 and studied composition here with Hans Joachim Koellreuter and complemented his musical training in courses abroad with Messiaen and Fortner. He also studied musical regency with Rafael Kubelik and Mueller-Kray. Co-founder of the Piracicaba School of Music “Maestro Ernst Mahle”, he is a member of the Brazilian Academy of Music (chair n.6).
