Francisco Mignone

Conductor, pianist teacher. He was the son of an Italian flautist Alfredo Mignone who immigrated to Brazil in 1896. Considered very important in classical music but participating generously in popular music, he used the pseudonym Chico Bororo. He was a member of the Brazilian Academy of Music and founder of the Brazilian Conservatory of Music.
