Francisco Alves

Singer and composer, son of the Portuguese immigrant José Alves. Partner of great names of the MPB such as Ismael Silva and Noel Rosa, he achieved succes as a singer and was nicknamed of "the King of the Voice". He died in 1952, victim of an accident on the Rio-São Paulo highway.
